Our Mares

As a small farm, we believe that we serve as an example of just the qualities the Poles have been producing, and which we have tried to continue. Our foals have been halter champions and then gone on to championship levels in performance. And, of course, they have become "Best Friends" for their owner-riders, a quality we believe fundamental to the breeding of all horses - "Handsome is as Handsome Does."

NOSTALGIA PASB Polish National Top Five Mare 1992 A rare bay and exotically gorgeous mare, one of the last and best daughters of PARTNER - European & Polish National Reserve Champion Stallion, successful chief sire both in Sweden and Poland. Her dam is by BANAT, an internationally known stallion. She is the daughter of gorgeous NETJTYCZANKA - one of the best mares ever bred at Kurozweki Stud, valuable and esteemed broodmare, and the dam of many fantastic foals. 	For us the best cross has been, broadly speaking, the Bask and Negatiw cross. Cytadel has two lines to Negatiw, with no Bask, while all of our mares have some *Bask in their backgrounds. This cross consistently produces an elegant look with athletic superiority that distinguishes our horses.

In foal to *Equifor, Gazal al Shaqab son, reserve Polish National Jr. Champion, leased to Canterbury farm from Poland.
